A Note from Kristine Godfrey, the Owner of All Pets Considered
When All Pets Considered welcomed customers in August 1992, it fulfilled my
lifelong dream of owning a store. My vision was to create a locally-owned
retail environment that was both rescue-friendly and customer-oriented. My goal
was to open a store that offered top-quality pet supplies while making a
difference in the larger community.
In 2000, I was proud to be named “Retailer of the Year” by Pet Product News,
a national pet trade magazine. Also that year, the Greensboro Chamber of
Commerce awarded All Pets Considered “Small Business Retailer of the Year.” My
staff and I continue to learn and grow.

All Pets Considered is Rescue-Friendly
All Pets Considered does not sell pets. We choose instead to support local,
regional, and national rescue groups.
All Pets Considered actively participates in community efforts to promote
animal welfare. We regularly showcase foster cats and encourage rescue groups
to hold adoption fairs for dogs and cats at our store. Every APC employee is an
animal enthusiast, involved in one way or another with animal rescue.

In 1999, Hurricane Floyd flooded North Carolinians out of their homes and
placed many animals at hazard. Kristine and her staff, with help from local
rescue groups, filled the store basement, twice, with emergency supplies for
those animals saved from the floodwaters. The towels, water and food collected
from the community were then shipped directly to animals in need. The All Pets
Considered staff also raised more than $30,000 to help displaced pets, which
was donated to EARS (Emergency Animal Rescue Service).
